Where does MethodiCall get it's data from?

To analyze your company's wireless expenses MethodiCall requires your carriers electronic billing data. Even if you've never heard of this before, your carrier provides it. Trust us.

To analyze PBX (or wire-line) usage, MethodiCall collects the call detail records (CDR) directly from your corporate PBX.

What happens after MethodiCall identifies areas of waste?

Using MethodiCall's reporting features you'll be able to find expenses that are usually high within your telecom environment. Since every company is different, your job will be to review these areas and use your detailed knowledge of your company to determine what actions are required.

What does our company need to do to get started?

The more information you can provide MethodiCall the more comprehensive the analysis can be. At the very minimum electronic billing data or CDR records are required. Ideally, you'll want to include:

  • All Mobile billing data when analyzing wireless usage
  • All PBX CDR data when analyzing wire-line usage
  • A list of employee names and phone numbers/extensions
  • A list of frequently called customer and/or supplier numbers
  • Any trunking information (PBX only)
How much of my time does it require to setup MethodiCall?

If you're using the hosted version of MethodiCall we'll do all of the work for you. All you need to provide is access to your PBX and/or carrier billing data and we'll take care of the rest.

On-site installations of MethodiCall take more time to setup because your IT department will need to be involved.

What kind of savings can I expect?

MethodiCall is typically able to help users save between 15% and 30% of their total wireless expense. Realized savings will depend on how aggressively you utilize MethodiCall and the actions you take based on the analysis it provides.

My carrier provides me with a reporting tool. Do I still need MethodiCall?

Absolutely. Our software is designed from the ground up to analyze total usage across your organization and across multiple wireless carriers. MethodiCall is the hands-down easiest way to find cost savings without the hassle of a full blown TEM solution.

When was the last time your wireless carrier suggested ways for you to spend less?

Can reports be distributed to people within my organization?

Yes. Reports can be distributed to end users and managers providing true employee visibility and accountability. In our experience, this is one of the best ways to reduce your costs. When end users see their actual usage, they tend to use more discretion when using their devices (thereby lowering costs).

Can our company logo appear on MethodiCall's reports?

Yes, your company logo can appear on MethodiCall's reports. Just provide us with an image file and we'll take care of the rest.

How much historical data do you keep?

If we're hosting MethodiCall for you, we'll keep 2 years of data (with 14 months online and available for reporting). If you have additional requirements please let us know.

If you're running MethodiCall on-site, then you can keep as much data online as you'd like (we recommend archiving historical data to keep everything snappy).

Do I need to install anything on my mobile phones?

No. One of the major benefits of MethodiCall's approach is that you don't need to install any software on your corporate smart-phones. MethodiCall works of the billing feed your carrier provides, so it works with every mobile phone in your organization, and there's no additional software to deploy or support.

Can I use the data and information from MethodiCall to help with my mobility carrier negotiations or request
for proposal?
